An old depot, a lot of iron, no mirrors on the lifting floor.
The building used to load freight; now it loads barbells. We kept the brick, the beams, and the big doors that open in summer, and filled the rest with platforms, racks, and enough plates that nobody waits.
The coaching philosophy is boring on purpose. Learn the basic lifts. Add a little weight over a long time. Sleep. The people who get strong here don't do exotic programs; they show up on Tuesdays for years.
"Everyone in here was new once, and the ones who look scariest remember it best."
The room skews friendly. PRs get a bell rung, birthdays get a workout named after you whether you like it or not, and the Sunday coffee pot has ended more soreness debates than any foam roller.
Come see it. The free week means you can try every class and every hour before a dollar changes hands, and the worst case is you leave knowing what you're looking for.
