Forty minutes, nothing sudden

Here is the whole first visit, minute by minute, so there is nothing left to imagine at 2 am the night before.

0–10

We talk, you sit in a normal chair. What hurts, what worries you, how long it has been. The honest answer to that last one is always fine with us.

10–25

A look and a set of pictures, narrated as it happens. Nothing is done to you during a look; a look is a look.

25–40

The plan, on paper, with prices. What needs doing now, what can wait, what can wait forever. You take the paper home. Deciding in the chair is not required and mildly discouraged.

Bring

Your insurance card if you have one, your medication list if it is long, and nothing else. Paperwork arrives by email when you book, and takes less time than parking.

Parking and the elevator

12 Cedar Street, above the pharmacy, elevator in back. The lot behind the pharmacy is free for two hours, which is four times longer than we will keep you.

Book the forty minutes.
