Two rooms, roughly organized
The stock turns over constantly, so this page describes territories, not inventory. For today's exact shelves, the only accurate database is the shop.
The front room
Candles, cards, chocolate, and the table of things Odette calls the argument table, because every object on it survived one. Soaps that earn their price, kitchen linens, and the wooden ducks, which have their own card and their own following.
The back room
Ceramics from three potters we can name and have fed dinner. Small lamps, old prints in new frames, glassware that rings when you flick it. The children's corner is small and ruthless: only toys we would actually give a child we like.
What we look for
Made by someone we could call on the phone. Useful, or beautiful, and ideally both. Priced so a birthday does not require a meeting. If an item fails all three tests but makes us laugh, it gets in anyway; see: ducks.
Want first dibs?
When something scarce lands, the people who asked get a call before it hits the shelf. There is a paper list by the register. Get on it in person, like it's 1962. Here's how to find us.
